Bicycle

hi guys! i am having my summer break now. it doesnt look like a break for me also actually. i only got 1 day of rest right after my exam. then i have to go back to work already. i am working two jobs now, morning working at the engineering consultant firm, and sometimes night time continue to work as a kitchen steward at hotel. some of you might know that i was in a bad time the pass few weeks. my life turned up side down, i lost of direction and confident in life. staying away from God. though that after exam things might go better and i can relax abit, never know that it became worse. my life here was lonely and stress. i got no one that i can really talk to. used to have all the sitiawan aliens to go mamak with last time to chit chat and release stress abit. eh, ah woei and gordon, i really miss going mamak with you guys. miss the 'OK ada?' mamak store and SS2 mamak(opposite of the police station). thank God, i got few kaki(s) are coming here next sem. cant wait to meet them.

some of you might know that my bicycle was stolen. i forget to lock my bike that day when i went to my friend's house, and i park my bike infront of his house. very obvious people can see clearly that my bike is not lock! but nevermind let them take it, that bike is abit cacat already one. gear cacat, brakes tak makan. is an old 2nd hand bike la.

so this monday i bought a new bike, love it very much. and bicycle also got size one now i only know. mine is L size. muahaha!! XL is abit too tall for me. i was very excited, havent been so excited and happy for a very long time already. once i reach home, i throw down my bag and straight away go try out my new bike. i cycle to the near by playground, tried some stunt and going up and down the hill. i cycle around like a crazy 10 year old kid that just received his new bike. ahahaha! i felt so so so much better after i bought this new bike, because of the miserable life that i had for the pass few weeks. i was very worried and stress with a lot of things here. until i felt that life is just so meaningless and miserable. but i think God talk to me through this kinda way. the bike represented me. my old bike was old,cacat and stolen, i had sinned,fall and lost. let go of the past and worries and trust the Lord. and im all NEW now. ahaha! got this bible verses at church sermon few weeks ago.

and guess what i ended up naming my new bike 'Revive'. ahaha!

i will be having my engineering project management and economics paper tomorrow. my 1st exam paper at UTAS, ya im quite nervous now. may God bless me! only he can help me now. haha!





i know someone is boring and feel like reading people's blog. so i sacrificed my time just to write something for her to read. eh! must belanja me 'gan buan' when i am back at sitiawan! haha!





ok, 1 of my housemate a girl. china fella. small size but very rude. even the other china housemate of mine also said that she is rude. when she talk that time the whole house also can hear clearly what is she talking about in her room. walk that time lagi geng! before she reach our house i can hear her foot steps outside of the streets already from my room. and she will bang the door after she came in or get out of the house. and my room is just beside the main door!! paling kesian 1 is me, because her room is just beside my room. almost everything she do makes sounds. bising betul budak tu!





and that day i was washing my socks,after washing i was planning to go n take it out to dry. mana tau suddently hear the washing machine started to wash again. i go and check, that fella throw some clothes in to wash! walau! she didnt check if there are still anything inside the washing machine before she throw somethin in?! ok,i just let my socks to wash for the 2nd time with her clothes. then i went to uni. after that, i came back check my socks, guess what happen to my socks?! they turned from white to pink?! speechless~





my this housemate really lawak betul, she dont really know how to cook. so i really dont know what she really eat everyday,other than chicken she bought from supermarket. she said she is scare to touch raw chicken,meat,fish and whatever raw food,thats why she seldom cook. but she love to eat them. another 'dai sui jie' haiz...-_-"...i advice you guys better learn to at least cook some basic food. if not you will really suffer when you come out next time. espcially those who are planning to go overseas.

ok, all started from msn. i found out that people nowdays love to say YO! so i suddently have this idea of writing out a song or maybe poem. i think i should call it a rap! haha! so i wrote out those lyrics right on the spot while chatting online. the Bunny started when 1 of my friend called another friend bunny in msn. so i felt it was very cute and funny. and the Lala same as well. hope you guys have a good time of laugh. hahaha!

Tommy Emmanuel

I just love and enjoy watching Tommy Emmanuel playing and wacking on his guitar. He is no ordinary uncle or ah pek! he is 1 of the greatest guitarist in the world, one of my favourite as well. He has great skills,emotional and energatic style of playing his guitar. Thats why i like him so much. Heard that he plays the drums as well. Want to know more about him? go to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tommy_Emmanuel .I know he supposed to come to Malaysia last year, because he was diagnosed with heart issues and was forced to take a break from his hectic touring schedule due to exhaustion. some of my friends they actually bought the tickets for his concert already. it was quite dissapointed to see that he cant make it. although i didnt bought the ticket. :P haha!

NegaraKu - Ma Lai Si Ya!

Yahoo!! Weather is getting warmer now days. Winter is over!! Spring is coming. i really cant wait for summer to come, and I really hate winter. hehe!

Today is Malaysia national day, and I totally forgotten about it! I only realized it when I saw MC’s msn personal message wishing happy birthday to Malaysia. I was thinking why is she wishing Malaysia happy birthday. Then at the same time, 1 of my friend sign in in msn, and her birthday is on the 31st as well, i saw her msn personal message writing about her birthday. Then I only realize today is 31st of august, our national day. I was quite mad with myself, because this kinda things where can forget! This is 1 of the easiest responsibility as a citizen of Malaysia to remember our independent day. Tell you guys something, I sang Negaraku alone in my room just now, so patriotic! haha! ya i miss my country, Malaysia. I miss the culture, the food, the people, the politics (for me malaysia politics is 1 of the coolest and canggih now,hehe~), and the mamak back there. I miss the dirty environment of the food stalls and mamak in Malaysia, especially those that are beside the longkang one. hahaha! I miss the way I order 'eh boss! nasi lemak ayam satu, limau ais satu!' or sometimes I no need to order the mamak fella know what I want already, A1 service! haha! Malaysia Negaraku!

friday vincent,ee yi and I we went to eastland to buy some stuff. and I saw some shoes having some sales. The stuff here really funny, sometimes the sales they gave can be more than 70%. and sometimes there is quite a big difference with the prices of the same item from a different store. After that we were on our way back, we saw a huge group of cyclist gather to cycle around Hobart I think. I think they did this every few months. You can see there are different group of ages of people took part in this. There are young kids to old uncle. I saw a guy wearing a giant teddy bear suit while cycling, I even saw people carry their dog at their back while cycling before. man! those ah mor they are really crazy sometimes. haha!

Lastly, I am having my mid sem break now, but there are a lots of work to do. I got assignments and revisions have to do. If not I really can’t catch up. I am really lost in class sometimes. Hope that I will use my 1 week of break wisely. Yeah! Here comes spring!!!

aliens?

have you wonder why are we here on earth? have you wonder why we are here or why we were there? have you wonder why we are doing this but not that? i guess God have a plan for each of us, sometimes it might be bad or good, but definitely there are reason why those things happen on us. we are like clay that had been mould into a piece of beautiful art work. it take times and effort to come out an awesome masterpiece. we are that masterpiece.


i found some aliens like David Crowder, he have a weird style and cool personality. God use this fella mightily to touch millions of lifes around the world. the songs that he wrote are really nice.





another alien is Napolean Dynamite, he is just too weird and too cool for me. haha! i know he looks nerdy and weird, but guess what, he is US legendary top nerd. respect respect!!! In the movie he is a listless and alienated teenager decides to help his new friend, Pedro to win the class presidency in their small western high school, while he must deal with his bizarre family life back home. see, even Napolean have ups and downs. However, he helped his best friend Pedro to win the class presidency at the end, with the sacrifice of his awesome alienated dance.haha! you might not know that Pedro might be the next president of US, and Napolean the vice president! man thats really gonna be funny if this really happen. hahaha! Again, God have a plan for each of us, there are people around us, maybe they are there or be a part of your life by the wills of God. just like Pedro and Napolean.(although this is just a movie) hehehe!




another alien fella who i think he is still making a difference in this world. that is Samuela, hahaha! i really want to thank God for everything that had happened to me in every parts of my life. without the moulding of God i wont be who i am today. God has sent great people, great friends and great family for me. you all had been a great support to me. thank you very much! so be thankful to the people beside you, as what was written in the bible, love your neighbours as yourself. loving isnt hard at all.i guess if we can do that, the future will be a better day. hahaha!

Life at Tasmania

some of you has been asking me how am i at tasmania now. well i am still alive, writing this blog and updating some stuff about me at here. i slowly get used with the weather here already. However, i am still having some difficulties in adapting the teaching style and the lifestyle here. ok, i will show you guys some pictures of the house that i am staying now. actually my parents they wanted me to take some picture of my house and the places here, and show it to them. haha! i am staying in a very small old house. there are only 4 rooms, a bathroom and a kitchen. my room is very bright during day time, because up on top of my room's ceiling there is a glass. all of my housemates are from china. there are a lot of china fella here. so far my housemates are very nice and friendly. life here is really boring, especially if you are staying alone. there are nothing much you can do here, somemore now is winter, and a lot of people are lazy to go out.

there is a mountain here called Mount Wellington. a very beautiful mountain where there are snows on top of it. i dont know whether i got the chance to go up to have a look or not, because i got no car to go up there. everyday i can see that beautiful mountain when i am walking to Uni.

Every saturday i will go to Salamanca market(is kinda like our pasar malam), where there are stores that sells all kinds of food, art work and a lot of stuff here. normally i will go there to buy some fruits and vegetables. there are quite some number of busker busking here. most of them are really really good! 1 of the group of busker really impressed me, you know why? because they are just around 11 to 13 years old only. and they really play and jam very very well! and they have their own album too!! respect respect!!!

Australia

it was a sad moment when i have to leave my family,friends and everything here.i guess this is why im sick these few days.haha! some of you came and sent me,some of you didnt.but i hope to see all of you guys!!! this is my first time taking a flight myself to a foreign country.i was like an alien here.yeah i guess IM.haha! i reached Melbourne 7am in the morning,the flight was a very smooth one.hehe!but when i reached Melbourne,i have to take a transit flight to Hobart,Tasmania at 8.35am. the flight was delayed for 2 hours.i was very thirsty,so i bought a bottle of mineral water.guess how much it cost?Aussie 3.80 for a bottle of 600ml mineral water!!!they say beer here are cheaper than mineral water.hahaha!then after i bought the mineral water.they gave all those who are going to Hobart,Tasmania an Aussie 10 bucks coupon to have some light refreshment at the store that i just bought a bottle of mineral water!so i wasted aussie 3.80!!! so i get a choco muffin(a very big one!)and some potato chips. not really enjoying myself eating and waiting at the gate.suddently i only realise that no one was waiting at the gate,dont know where they have gone.my flight was actually flying off soon! they change from gate 1 to gate 7,and i didnt hear the annourcement.right after i hear that,i faster run there to catch my plane. Thank God they havent fly yet.

when the plane almost reach the distination.the plane go down from a very high altitude to a lower altitude,where this will cause our ears under pressure. i cant really hear anything at that time. and somemore the aircraft was flying up n down.very unstable. i dont know if you all had watch Mr.Bean before where he was trying to make a boy on plane laugh.ok,imagine im that boy now.when the aircraft is not stable,i will feel like want to vomit.just dont have someone like Mr.Bean,doing some Buuah!...Buuah!...sound effect at the side.haha! i watch comedy court before, and i learnt something from there. positive thinking! positive thinking! so i was trying to think positively.but at the end i stil vomit rite before we lane.hahah!

the university didnt pick me up at the airport,i waited for few hours.then at the end i took a taxi to vincent's house. the weather here is very cold. and i really dont get used of it.i will talk more bout it.because is 3am in the morning at uni lab now.

INTI Orientation Nite!

i had a wonderful time when i came back to PJ last week. get to spend my time with most of my friends again. back at sitiawan, i spent most of my time with my dad's indian and bangladesh workers. haha! then when i was back at PJ i got some difficulties in speaking manderin, i guess is because i was communicating with my dad's workers in malay for the past few days. hahaha!

1 of the reason i came back to PJ this time is that i will be performing at Inti for the very last time. orientation night was fall on last friday. it was a very busy day for me. i have breakfast with NC. really happy to see her, didnt saw her for quite some time already. her boyfriend is going to australia also, and i think both of them feel sad and gonna miss each other alot. never mind NC,your boyfriend go there for half year only. chill~~

my band have sound check at around 2.00pm. the sound was nice at first. then after that we went for band practice at a studio. right after we left college, rain pour down heavily. and i cant even get down from my car when i reach the studio. right after practice with kennard's band my another band yanming they all came to the same studio, continiously i have to practice for 2 bands, and for the same event, damn tiring. haha! after practice with them we went to college straight away, and have a quick sound check. but the sound at that time was superly bad. the maintainance fella dont know how to control the sound at all!!! the event was fully pack, a lot of people came so it means the event is a very success once.haha! Kennard band is the first band to perform. we played mostly goo goo dolls songs, not bad, the songs and music are really nice. but the sound sux!!! i cant really hear a thing on the stage. i just play according to what i feel. haha! but not bad, people love it, again the sound system spoiled the day.haha!

they invited world campion yoyo master, all the way from japan. and the world campion is a girl! respect respect!! those yoyo masters show some really cool stuff. really impressive! everyone love it! my another band 'defused' performed almost at the end of the show. the sound is better this time, everything go smooth. here are the band members, Eunice - Vocals, Hui Yi - Bass, me - drums, Yeeler - Lead Guitar and YanMing - Guitar. i kinda like this picture, is nice, like a family picture! hahaha!

after that yeeler and me had a beatbox vs drums. i started with a drums solo, the feel was not really there, so is abit hard to solo, when the feel start coming already i drop my glasses. so i continue to play along with my double pedals, at the same time i pick up my glasses, it was very obvious. haha! then i started to show some showmanship, i drink water while im still playing on my double bass pedals. slowly i add on the speed, the feel is there, as when i wanted to get faster, 1 of my pedal's beater flew off!!! straight away that solo feel gone! haiz...so i was quite dissapointed with my drums solo. but yeeler did a great job with his beatbox skills! everyone love it. hahaha! the whole event goes very smooth, the performance were nice and enjoying. emm..but i did screw up some parts of my drums solo. but it was fun, i really enjoy performing and playing with different kinds of people. haha! well done everyone and also the STACT club commitees, all of you did a great job!

the next day dee ung, chun hoe, albert, wei cai, richard, federik and alvin kinda organized a farewell party for me at summer steamboat buffet. we supposingly going to Yuen steamboat buffet, but there was a lot of people queing up outside of the restaurant as early as 5.30pm! weird! those people have their dinner so early? but never mind we have a great time makan together, chu hoe and albert were always the 2 jokers that keep making us laugh. hahaha! really thanks a lot guys, i really have a great time with you all. haha!

Working for daddy

i am working for my dad these few days. my dad got a lot of projects lately, and the projects are all located at different places. and just nice 1 of my dad's pickup spoiled and was sent to the workshop. so my nissan sunny came to the rescue. therefore,my car is use for working now. haha! i was working at different places. teluk intan,damai laut resort,pantai remis. but this 2 days i am mainly working at damai laut resort. i have to wake up early everyday and fetch few of my dad's worker to the site. and i have to jaga the site and also supervise at the same time. actually i have a nice day yesterday, but the 'beh hor' driver turns my day around. that fella really cause a lot of troubles to us. he treat his 'beh hor' like his beloved car or BMW,superly take care of his 'beh hor'. we call him to do like this he say this cannot that cannot my 'beh hor' cannot do that and he was working so slow. really slow motion when he drive his 'beh hor' and he spoiled the grass on the goft field. so now my dad have to pay compensation for the damages of the grasses. and we have to pay that fella RM300 per day! i was kinda pissed off when i see how he work and the troubles he caused to my dad.




just now i was resting under the trees, and 1st time in my life i saw a group of wild boars runny from the other side of the field. damn cute when they ran! they were just around 70 metres away from me. i think there were more than 10 of them. there were small and big ones. the little ones were so cute when they ran together with their parents. hahaha!! hope to catch one back, but just scare later the piggy's mummy and daddy will come after me.haha!! yesterday i saw a hunter was waiting for hours to hunt some wild boars. but i think he get nothing. but seriously is so surprisingly i get to see so many of them. hahaha!! what a great experience! but actually i love wild boar's meat. damn nice! i love wild boar's burger too, it taste wonderful!!hahaha!

Visit to our one and only cinema in Sitiawan

I have my breakfast with foo woei today, gan buan!!! came back to sitiawan for so many days already today i only get to eat gan buan! haha! emm..Nothing much to do at home also today. fetch grandma from the clinic. online,watching TV. then afternoon plan to go watch movie with my brother and foo woei.but plan cancelled because i have to accompany my mum to the banks and then i though of going for the night show,but later i realise that im teaching drums at night. i saw YC at CIMB i didnt saw her at first because i was looking at other things. foreign currency.haha!after that foo woei called up and we go for the 4.40pm movie, to continue our plan.we was late for around 5min,because it was kinda last min. but nevermind, it was a nice movie 'kung fu panda' the movie was really funny. if can,bring along a group of friends to go and watch this movie, so that you all can laugh together.haha!



after the movie, all of us was walking out of the cinema. and a group of teenages was laughing n talking about the movie. one of the girl infront of me suddently fell down from the stairs, and i think it was really pain because she didnt stand up for quite awhile, i think she was crying. pity her.

i took some picture of sitiawan's new cinema, or i should say old one but renovated.haha! last time this cinema was called 'Arasu' cinema, it was a very old classic cinema.most of the time they show only tamil movies. it was very dirty,you can see birds and rats in the cinema sometimes.haha! imagine when you go and watch horror movies,suddently people shouts not because of the scary things in the movie but rats around the cinema that scared them! ahaha! but now they called it 'Lotus Five Star', they changed the whole thing and make it nice,clean and better sound quaility.and the seats are better than some GSC cinemas.haha!

Long Break

Enjoying my life back at sitiawan now. i have a long holiday. but i spent most of my time at college last month, lepaking around like a free man. yeah im a free man! haha! some friends in college was abit shocked to see me. they will always asked me 'eh! what are you doing here? i though you graduated already!' There are some reason why im still around. i actually plan to work, but my dad ask me to come back to help him up in his business, and i had promise some people that i will give drums lesson to them. so i plan to stay back at PJ for around 1 month to settle my university application and my student VISA first. other than that,i want to give some drums lesson to my CF fella and some of my friends. so this is why i didnt go n look for job. because this is going to be very busy n tired if i work. another reason is i wanted to spend more time with all my college friends because this might be the last time i gonna see them. weird la,i actually get to know a lot of new friends after i graduated! some of them i get to know them end of last semester. sad wey! i really like those new friends that i just made. time passes by so fast, i really hope that i got more times to get to know them more.

but this holiday i get back to my old lifestyle. drumming all the way!!! i was very busy with drumming, playing for bands, band practices, sometimes there are recording to do also. was very busy and tired at that time. now almost the same also, but this time i have to teach drums,i havent teach drums for quite a long time. teaching really need a lot of patient. and im lack of patient nowdays. i teach drums at college every monday and thursday from 6pm to 10.30pm sometimes 11pm. it was really tiring, by the time i reach home im a powerless sissy blurly guy. when im not teaching i have band practice and also CF worship practice. now im back at sitiawan, and im going to start my drums lesson again. i give free lesson. and some people might think that im stupid. i actually can earn some money from this. but nah~ i have reason why im giving free drums lesson to people. this is a blessing from God, He wants me to bless others. i was blessed by someone else. and is time for me to bless back and also at the same time train up new drummers. a lot of churches in my hometown are lack of good drummers now. i used to go to different churches to teach and share about drums with the drummers from other churches. there was where i improve my drumming the most. haha! God brought me through a lot of things in life, and i learnt from it. if not for the grace of God and the blessing He had gave to my family, i would not be who i m now.haha! drumming for me is not just music, is a huge impact of my life. is the gift that God had given to me to make a difference in the world. people actually was influenced and touched with beautiful music that God had created and with the music that we play out from our heart. so serve God with all your heart, with all your strength, with all your might! haha!

Infuse in R-AGE

THE four friends seemed a little awkward at first, but eventually they got into the groove of posing for photographs.
"We don't do this often but I guess we should get used to it," says the 21-year-old vocalist for the band Infuse, Justin George.

However for lead guitarist Lum Kar Chun (Dryck), bassist/vocalist Jacqueline Anne Sibert, drummer Samuel Ho Yu Xing and Justin, the focus is not so much getting used to the limelight, but putting their music out there and making sure they don’t screw up during shows.
"We've had a few funny things happen to us," begins Dryck, a 20-year-old marketing student at Inti College Subang Jaya.

"Once Jacq forgot the lyrics to the song she was singing and changed them at the very last minute, writing them on her wrist for reference."
Justin became wary of spotlights after one performance when he couldn't see a thing but the blinding light in his eyes.

Civil engineering student Samuel, 22, has had his share of mishaps - dropping his drumsticks in the middle of performances and trembling so hard he had to force himself to focus.
"There was a point in time when I played Pachabel's Canon in D so often at events that people called me Cannon boy and renamed the song Canon in Dryck," recalls Dryck, laughing.

The band laugh at the good times they've had together, but at the same time long for more time to work on their album.
"It's in the process as Jacq has written some songs. One is called What Is True, which we've performed at events before," says Dryck.
Juggling their studies, the band and their personal lives are difficult enough, but when you throw in part time jobs, it gets even more hectic.
"I hold guitar lessons part time and Jacq works at the ice skating rink in Sunway Pyramid, while Samuel and Justin are busy with their final year projects, but we try and find time to jam together. We're lucky we understand each other," says Dryck.

Infuse has been through a number of member changes, with the original members Dryck and Jacq taking new members on just to work out the mechanics of their music.
"We were called Diztorted Noize first, but spilt because a member had to go to National Service and the other didn't have time to commit. Then we met Justin and Samiel during a talent show in college, and called ourselves 8th Wonder of the World," explains Dryck.

However, when they took part in Justea's Battle Of The Bands last year, they changed their name to Infuse to make things less complicated, and the name stuck ever since.
"It basically means combining our talents into one, and finding that compatibility to come up with great music," says Dryck.
Infuse has a relatively long list of gigs for a band that has been around barely over a year - they have opened for Amber Chia and the album launch tour of the group 5566, Cuti-cuti Gamers in Summit USJ, charity events such as World Peace Day and Quake The Aid, Youth 08 Beat the Buzzer and many other college events.

As individuals, they have a number of achievements under their respective belts - Jacq has been a finalist in several singing competitions, Samuel once took part in a 50-hour non-stop drumming event, Justin has won two talent shows and Dryck has been appointed judge for school-level Battle of the Band events.

Being a band is one thing, but the close friendship they share is another.
"The helps me out when I have problems," says Justin, "We are all very passionate about our music but we are committed to each other as friends."
"It's our dedication that holds us together. It's not just jamming together but getting gigs and organising our schedules around them as well," says Jacq.
Just like every band, they have their dreams, and will stop at nothing to put their music out there.
